Lilly Day Drives In 4 To Lead Centerville Varsity Bulldogs Past Delta By GameChanger Media Lilly Day drove in four runs on three hits to lead Centerville Varsity Bulldogs past Delta 13-2 on Thursday at Centerville Senior High School. Day doubled in the first inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the fourth inning, scoring two. Centerville Varsity Bulldogs won thanks in part to eight runs in the first inning. Haven Walter drew a walk, scoring one run, Aubrey Seifer singled, scoring one run, Kinley Rinehart drew a walk, scoring one run, Willow Thacker singled, scoring two runs, Day doubled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run. Centerville Varsity Bulldogs added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Centerville Varsity Bulldogs scored on a passed ball, and Madi Yount tripled, each scoring one run. D Drown hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the fourth for the Delta. Seifer earned the win for Centerville Varsity Bulldogs. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking one. K Burns took the loss for Delta. The reliever went three innings, surrendering five runs on 10 hits, striking out two and walking two. H Loser opened the game for Delta. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and eight runs (two earned) over one inning, striking out none and walking three. Shelby Thomas appeared in relief for Centerville Varsity Bulldogs. Centerville Varsity Bulldogs tallied 14 hits in the game. Day and Yount each collected three hits for Centerville Varsity Bulldogs. Mykilah Pamplin, Seifer, and Thacker each collected multiple hits for Centerville Varsity Bulldogs. Centerville Varsity Bulldogs had patience at the plate, piling up five walks for the game. Rinehart and Shelby Life led the team with two free passes each. Day stole two bases. Centerville Varsity Bulldogs turned one double play in the game. Centerville Varsity Bulldogs were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Life made the most plays with six. Drown and C Freiburger each drove in one run for Delta.
