Varsity Softball vs Cowan High School (4 - 1) Win Centerville Varsity Bulldogs Defeat Cowan Behind Strong Performance From Madi Yount By GameChanger Media Madi Yount struck out 16 batters as the starter led Centerville Varsity Bulldogs past Cowan 4-1 on Monday at Cowan Community Schools. Yount gave up one hit and one run over seven innings while walking one. Lilly Day collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Day hit a solo home run to right field in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning. Centerville Varsity Bulldogs got on the board in the top of the first inning after Day homered to right field, Yount homered to center field, and Aubrey Seifer singled to left field, each scoring one run.
