The Centerville Bulldogs traveled to Brookville Friday night and rolled to a 72-51 win over 3A Franklin County. The Bulldogs put up 49 points in the second half, pulling away from the Wildcats. The Bulldogs had 4 players in double figures. Shea Hollendonner in his second game back led the team with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Ethan Vecera recorded a double double with 16 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds. Jace Hollendonner had the hot hand from deep with 4 triples in the 3rd quarter, as he finished with 14 points. Landyn Keiser had 11 points and 5 rebounds. Kaden McCord had 4 points and 6 rebounds. Bryson Brown had 4 points. Landen Schlotterbeck had 3 points and Jonah Cornett had 2 points to round out the scoring. The Varsity record improved to 14-6 on the year and the Bulldogs have climbed to #18 in 2A. In the JV contest the Wildcats put up 37 points in the 1st half and the Bulldogs never recovered. The JV Bulldogs lost 60-39. Coltyn Keiser had 14 points. Jonah Cornett had 6 points. Gabe Boyle and Evan Bain each had 5 points. Brady Johnson had 3 points. Darius Stewart, Kyle Dickenson and Jonathon Golden each had 2 points. The JV Bulldogs are now 7-7 on the year. The Bulldogs have a big week ahead as they have two TEC contests on the road. First up is Union City on Tuesday February 18th. In the second contest on Friday February 21st the Bulldogs will travel to Tri High to take on the Titans. Both nights JV will tip at 6:00pm with Varsity to follow.
