The Bulldogs got the TEC road win over Winchester on Thursday night, 53-48. The win moved the Bulldogs into a 2-way tie with Tri High for second place in TEC standings. However, the biggest news of the night came with the unexpected return of Shea Hollendonner into the lineup. Shea made his season debut scoring 14 points including 8 points in the 4th quarter to help hold off a late rally by the Falcons. Shea suffered a season ending ACL injury in a football scrimmage against New Castle in August. Shea worked extremely hard over the last 6 months to get back and have a chance to play this season. While no official date had been made for a potential return, Shea felt like he was physically and mentally ready to give it a go on Thursday night. Excitement filled the locker room as he broke the news to coaches and players just before departing for Winchester. His impact in the game was felt immediately as he led all Bulldog scorers. Other Bulldogs Scorers in the win: Landyn Keiser had 13 points. Jace Hollendonner finished with 11 points. Kaden McCord had 8 points, Ethan Vecera had 4 points and Coltyn Keiser had 3 points to round out the scoring. The Bulldogs have 5 games remaining before Sectional, with another 3 straight games on the road before their last 2 home games of the season. In the JV contest the Bulldogs cruised to an easy 55-40 win. Coltyn Keiser had 15 points, while Kyle Dickenson reached double figures with 10 points. Evan Bain and Brady Johnson each had 8 points. Bentley Grubbs had 5 points while Darius Stewart had 4 points to round out the scoring. The Bulldogs are on the road this Friday as they travel to Franklin County to take on the Wildcats.
