Centerville Sr High School

The Centerville Girls Swimming and Diving Team finished 5th at the New Palestine Sectional on Saturday. Senior Taylor Heaston finished 2nd in Diving and qualified for Regional competition in Plainfield on Tuesday. Heaston also finished 6th in the 100 Back, and joined Sylvia Dam, Anna Nevels and Evie Morgan to finish 5th in the 200 Medley Relay. Avery Dickerson placed 3rd in the 50 Free and the 100 Free. Dickerson, Yare Moreno-Espitia, Morgan and Kenna Hemmerling placed 5th in the 200 Free Relay. Anna Nevels placed 5th in the 500 Free and 8th in the 100 Breast. Dickerson, Hemmerling, Moreno-Espitia and Nevels finished 4th in the 400 Free Relay. Moreno-Espitia placed 9th in the 200 IM and the 100 Fly. Hemmerling placed 11th in the 200 Free and 12th in the 500 Free. Dam placed 11th in the 100 Breast and 14th in the 200 IM. Morgan place 12th in the 100 Free. Kenzie Pierce placed 14th in the 100 Fly.
