The Bulldogs extended their win streak to 5 games with wins over conference foe Union County 60-41 and Connersville 50-43. The Bulldogs have won 7 of their last 8 games. For the first time in school history, the Bulldogs have wins over Richmond and Connersville in the same season. The Bulldogs have only beaten the Spartans 3 times in the last 30 years, with 2 of those wins now coming in back-to-back seasons. In the win over Union County Landyn Keiser led all scorers with 18 points. Bryson Brown had 12 points and Kaden McCord had 10 points as both reached double figures. Coltyn Keiser chipped in 7 points. Ethan Vecera dropped 10 dimes on the night to go along with 4 points and 4 steals. Jace Hollendonner had quick feet and sticky hands as he recorded a season high 7 steals to go along with 4 assists and 3 points. Keith Plyley Jr. had 3 points. Landen Schlotterbeck got on the board with 2 points as did Kyle Dickenson with a made free throw. In the Connersville win Landyn Keiser had 17 points. Jace Hollendonner reached double figures with 10 points, with 2 made 3 pointers. Kaden McCord continues to shoot well from behind the arc and finished with 9 points. Keith Plyley Jr. knocked down free throws late to seal the win and finished with 5 points. Bryson Brown got to the line early in the game and finished with 5 points of his own. Ethan Vecera found the shooters and finished with 4 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds. Landen Schlotterbeck had some big defensive plays in pivotal possessions. The JV squad played without 4 teammates who are working to get back from various injuries. The short-handed Bulldogs beat Union County 56-26 and lost to Connersville 31-42. Coltyn Keiser had 29 points combined. Gabe Boyle had 16 points in the two games. Evan Bain had 14 points. Brady Johnson had 11 points. Kyle Dickenson and Darius Stewart each had 6 points, while Bentley Grubbs had 5 points. Jack Duke played some great defense while finding open teammates for scores. The Bulldogs have just one game in the next 11 days. It's a big game as the dogs will be on the road battling the Falcons of Winchester in a must win TEC matchup. Come out and support the Bulldogs this Thursday. JV will tip at 6 pm at the fieldhouse in Winchester with the Varsity to follow. It's a great day to be a Bulldog!!
