Centerville Boys Basketball beat 4A East Central in physical contest, 51-43. Landyn Keiser led all scorers with 18 points. Bryson Brown had 9 points, Jace Hollendonner got the Bulldogs off to a great start with two 1st quarter 3's and finished with 8 points. Landen Schlotterbeck had the hot hand in the 3rd quarter with two 3's of his own and finished with 6 points. Coltyn Keiser and Keith Plyley Jr. each knocked down a deep shot in pivotal possessions as they both finished the game with 3 points each. Ethan Vecera, always tough on defense, found the hot hands all night with several assists and finished the night with 4 points. The Bulldogs are now 8-6 on the season as they look to start a winning streak in the back half. The JV Bulldogs struggled early and often against the much bigger East Central JV squad. East Central cruised to an easy win, 49-25. Both teams will be back in action on the road against Rushville on Wednesday the 22nd. JV will tip at 6:00pm with Varsity to follow.
