Centerville Varsity Boys Basketball team rallies late to beat Seton on the road

The Bulldogs rallied late to beat Seton on the road at Earlham college on Saturday night. Behind most of the game the Bulldogs clawed and fought to get the Seton lead to single digits entering the 4th quarter. The Bulldogs tied the game midway into the 4th and it was back and forth until the closing seconds. With the win the Bulldogs are now 2-0, heading into a key TEC matchup with Northeastern on Thursday. The Bulldogs just missed getting all 5 starters in double figures showing once again a very well-rounded scoring attack. Landyn Keiser led the Bulldogs in scoring with 15 points and also had 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bryson Brown had 12 points including two dunks in the opening period. Ethan Vecera had a double double with 11 points, and 11 rebounds. Ethan also had a team high 7 assists. Kaden McCord had 10 points and went a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line. Jace Hollendonner had 9 points, including two big 3 pointers in the 4th quarter. Landen Schlotterbeck had 5 points and Keith Plyley Jr. made some big defensive plays to lead the team in steals with 3. The JV had another dominate win with a final score of 58-22. Coltyn Keiser had 16 points and 4 assists. Jonah Cornet had a double double with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Kyle Dickenson had 8 points and 4 assists. Evan Bain had 6 points and 7 rebounds. Gabe Boyle had 5 points. Colton Morris chipped in 4 points. Darius Stewart and Jack Duke had 3 points and 2 points to round out the scoring. Come out and support the Bulldogs this Thursday and Saturday as they travel to Northeastern and Delta. JV tips at 6pm both nights. It's a Great Day to be a Bulldog!
