Centerville Football Defeats Hagerstown 53-7

The Centerville Bulldogs move to 2-0 on the season with a 53-7 win over the Hagerstown Tigers. Jace Hollendonner led the Bulldogs offense going 7/8 passing with 106 yards and 3 TD's along with 46 yards rushing. Senior, Grady Blake had 2 big receiving touchdowns on the night. Maddox Pritchett returned a punt 61 yards for a touchdown and added 2 catches for 45 yards and another touchdown. Owen Boyd had the longest run of the night with a 69 yard touchdown and finished with 86 yards of total offense. Jeremiah Mull added 87 yards of total offense and 1 touchdown. The Bulldog Defense had another big night as they shut down the Tiger offense. Johnny McGinty had a fumble recovery for touchdown and Austyn Mcguire came up with a big interception. The defense recorded 5 Tackles for Loss by Ethan Vecera, Coleson Campbell, Owen Boyd, Ed Parker and Timmy Wright. Chase Clark and Johnny McGinty each had 1 Sack on the night. Centerville is now 2-0 in conference play and will travel to Eastern Hancock for their one non-conference game of the year. Eastern Hancock is ranked in the top 5 in 2A creating a big week 3 match up for the Bulldogs!
