Centerville Sr High School

The Centerville Bulldogs kicked off the 2024 season with a dominate victory over Cambridge City Lincoln by a score of 54-0. The Defense was led by Johnny McGinty who had 9 tackles along with an interception that he returned for a 40 yard touchdown. Chase Clark led the team with 12 tackles. Maddox Pritchett also had an interception that he returned for a 62 yard touchdown. Austyn McGuire added 10 tackles and Ethan Vecera finished the night with 8 tackles. The Bulldogs totaled 397 yards of offense on the night. Quarterback, Jace Hollendonner went 12/17 passing for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns along with 91 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown. Maddox Pritchett had 3 catches for 67 yards and 1 touchdown while Ethan Vecera hauled in 5 catches for 62 yards and 1 touchdown. Jeremiah Mull totaled 81 yards of offense with 1 touchdown and Aiden Hoelscher averaged over 9 yards per carry for 48 yards on five carries. Owen Boyd added a 17 yard rushing touchdown for the Bulldogs and Ed Parker scored on a 5 yard touchdown catch! Centerville is now 1-0 on the season and will host the Hagerstown Tigers next Friday night at home!
